From fittings to styling, hair and makeup to pre and post show event planning, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes at the #AICW2015
With less then 48 hours to go before the opening show at the Amazon India Couture Week, the venue is abuzz with excitement and enthusiasm. One can never make out the gruelling hours, tremendous hard work and months of preparation that go into the makings of a seamless and successful twenty-minute fashion show.
Day One of fittings had designers Reynu Taandon, Rimple & Harpreet Narula, Monisha Jaising, Rahul Mishra, Anju Modi and Sabyasachi Mukherjee get set to pull out all the stops for a spectacular show.
Behind the scenes at Anju Modi saw opulent ensembles being teamed with traditional ethnic jewellery. Models played fancy dress with Polki necklaces and chaandbalis.
It was business as usual at Rahul Mishra’s fitting. With not a minute to loose the perfectionist put his finishing touch on even the minutest of details.
Red carpet glamour was the theme at Monisha Jaising’s greenroom. Statuesque models in floor sweeping gowns looked set for the Oscars.
The MAC team were at their creative best as they churned out one hot look after another to complement a designer’s collection. One can’t wait to see the finished looks on the runway, after all these experts will usher in the beauty trends for the upcoming festive season with their hair and makeup looks.
