The treasured tie-dye art from Kutch, Gujarat popularly known as Gujarati Bandhani served as the main focus and inspiration for this collection. Black, indigo, henna and aubergine formed the central colour palette and the silhouettes used were structured with a raw finish.

The warrior vibe of the collection traces back to the Khatri community, which is actively involved in the art of producing Bandhani. Fabrics used included tusser, georgette and chanderi. Digital prints were used to add depth, dimension and character to the warrior inspired tone of the collection.

Elaborate eye masks, neckpieces, geometrical bags and accessories that resembled body harnesses in copper were included to accentuate the warrior-esque appeal of the duo’s creations. The women’s wear collection featured asymmetrical and layered hems, exaggerated shoulders and empire line fits complete with ankle length and knee high black leather boots.

For men, the designers created and showcased a range of black jodhpuri pants, high neck structured jackets that resonated with the military feel of the collection.
