Rajdeep Ranawat @ WIFW AW 12

March 5, 2012

This season Rajdeep Ranawat presented an 80’s inspired collection that can be best described as a blend of psychdelic colours and bold prints in wearable styles. Kaftans, Jumpsuits, waistcoats, skirts, shift dresses and sarees lit up the ramp and Ranawat included a pop of added colour with bright coloured stockings to go with some of his dresses.

Pankaj & Nidhi @ WIFW AW 12

March 5, 2012

There is definitely something about the way Pankaj and Nidhi bring colour into fall this season. Brights are subtle (if there is ever such a thing!) and fabrics went from faux wool fur (a material that was made specially by the designers) to leather and wool jersey.

Ritu Pande @ WIFW AW 12

March 2, 2012

Feminine, dreamy and effortless is just how we would describe Ritu Pande’s collection. Blacks, charcoal greys and rust reds formed the limited yet classic colour palette that the designer stuck to and the fabric of choice was by and large satin. Kimono style dresses, one shoulder drapes and toga style dresses featured in her collection and eye catching coloured circular embellishments gave the clothes a rather asian appeal....
